Statistics Canada and Natural Resources Canada will be developing the Canadian Centre for Energy Information (CCEI) in collaboration with Environment and Climate Change Canada and the Canada Energy Regulator. This new website will house resources on all things energy-related, including production, consumption, international trade and much more.

About the CCEI

The purpose of the Canadian Centre for Energy Information (CCEI) is to provide a convenient one-stop shop for information on Canada's energy future. The CCEI will present energy information in a way that is easy for a wide range of data users to understand. It will integrate data from federal, provincial and territorial sources across Canada.

Statistics Canada's Canadian Energy Information Portal brings together relevant and timely government data on Canada's energy mix, including electricity, renewable energy and oil and gas. The portal was developed by Statistics Canada in partnership with the Canada Energy Regulator, Natural Resources Canada and Environment and Climate Change Canada.
